Girl Scout Cookies

Tragedy of tragedies – We’re getting screwed on Girl Scout cookies this year.

The economy ruins everything.

The Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. have announced that there will be fewer cookies in boxes of Thin Mints, Do-si-does and Tagalongs. Additionally, Lemon Chalet Creme cookies will be smaller in size.

I don’t know what a Lemon Chalet is, but Thin Mints? Did they have to touch my Thin Mints?

Thin Mints

The disaster is being blamed on the fact that manufacturing cookies is getting to be a pricey business.

In the last year, the cost of flour is up 30 percent and cocoa has gone up by 20 percent. My excitement for cookie season, though, has been slashed by at least 60 percent.

I know it’s only a few measly cookies, but I’ll surely be missing them when I reach the bottom of the box all too quickly.

Please Obama, fix this madness!
