It’s still quite a few months away, but it’s never to early to prepare. This September, much like every September since 1984, the Folsom Street Fair is coming to San Fransisco. This isn’t your usual street fair full of fried dough and kiddie rides, though. It’s an annual BDSM and leather subculture event that’s all part of the city’s “Leather Pride Week.” Interested yet?

What makes the event even better is that along with all the kinky fun comes a good cause. All money donated at the gates is given to various charities and booths within the event also raise money for non-profits. Think of it as trading a little spanking for a lot of good will.

Even if you’re not down with the BDSM business, you don’t want to miss this. More than 400,000 visitors come each year and I assure you there will be plenty to see.
