Mel

Does anyone really think she’s all that attractive?  She’s got a couple of decent photo shoots under her belt but I don’t think this girl’s hot at all.  Also, she’s 39.  Mel’s 53.  Shouldn’t he be combing the high schools?

Muggers Messed With The Wrong Marching Band Girl

Published by Jennifer under Off the Press

Marching Band Girls

Marching band has a certain connotation, but those baton girls aren’t all sugar and spice. They’ll beat your ass if they have to. Two muggers in California learned this lesson the hard way.

The thieves demanded money from a 17-year-old high school marching band student and were met with a punch in the nose, a kick in the groin and a baton beating they aren’t likely to forget anytime soon.

While no arrests have been made yet, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Rust had this to say:

“Final score: Marching band 2, thugs 0.”

Duration Debate Results: Make It Short and Sweet

Published by Jennifer under Sex

Sex

When it comes to sex, Science Daily says going the distance isn’t everything. Recent research found:

Satisfactory sexual intercourse for couples lasts from 3 to 13 minutes, contrary to popular fantasy about the need for hours of sexual activity, according to a survey of U.S. and Canadian sex therapists.

Remember guys, it’s quality time not quantity of time.

The Ways In Which Leighton Meester Is Not Blair Waldorf

Published by Jennifer under Entertainment

Leighton Meester

Watch a show enough and you can’t help but imagine the actors actually are the characters they play. The more I read about Leighton Meester, though, the more I’ve been (sadly) convinced that she is no Blair Waldorf. I’m not saying Blair is a person to strive to be, but her deliciously evil ways mixed with a little conscience every once in a while make her interesting as hell. And that’s saying something for a Gossip Girl character.

Here’s just some of the ways Leighton is no Queen B.

Heidi and Spencer Swine Flu Pic Will Make You Sick

Published by Jennifer under Entertainment

Heidi and Spencer swine flu

After their ridiculous wedding, Heidi and Spencer ridiculously decided to go through with their Mexico honeymoon and thus “got caught” in this totally “candid” and ridiculous photo-op. They may be avoiding swine flu, but they’ve got a terminal case of famewhoratitis.

10 Songs Dedicated To The Ladies

Published by Jennifer under Entertainment

Lady Madonna The Beatles

Everyone likes to imagine that a song was written just for them. Personally, I know each and every song about a girl with blue eyes is about me and Plain White Tees’ “Hey There Delilah” was really meant to be “Hey There Samantha.”

However, not everyone can be me, but everyone does deserve to feel like they are an artist’s muse, their inspiration, their reason for singing/breathing/Twittering. So at times you have to think a little broadly. You’re a girl? That song mentions a girl? Bingo, good enough.

With that in mind, I present 10 songs dedicated to you ladies. If nothing else, these “lady” inspired tunes go out to our lovely website.

I mean simply looking at the photo above can we really agree that celebrities are role models?  Well some certainly are but if we’re referring to the Kim Kardashians and Paris Hilton’s of the world then if they’re role models, we’re in a whole lot of trouble.

When Hosiery Became High Fashion

Published by Jennifer under Beauty Buzz

Katie Gallagher collection

Katie Gallagher’s new collection is supposed to be futuristic. To the fashion-forward, her skin-colored corsets are exoskeleton rib cages that provoke a meaningful parody of nakedness. To me, it seems a little familiar…

Oh yes, it appears to be Spanx couture.

Nothing against Spanx of course. I’ve spoken before of the amazing suctioning and slimming power of the undergarments. But until that rumored line of Spanx apparel comes to fruition (soon, please!), it’s just that: undergarments. The “clothes” in this collection seem vaguely reminiscent of those practical body shapers.

The Rap Chop Improves Upon The Already Amazing Slap Chop

Published by Jennifer under Entertainment

Infomercials are all the rage these days and it’s not just because of some backwards robe-like blanket with holes. They’re just so kitschy cool. What’s better than an ordinary informercial, you ask? An informercial remix. Nothing inspires a good rap song like watching vegetables get sliced and diced.
