Proof That Disney Plagiarizes… Disney
The folks at CollegeHumor insist on tampering with our childhood memories. While most Disney movies hold a unique and special place in my heart, it turns out most Disney movies aren’t actually all that unique. That’s not to say that even I can’t see the similarities. Almost every one involves a princess who falls in love, has some sort of trouble and then lives happily ever after.
But the similarities have never seemed so blatant until I watched this video. It makes sense though… animation is probably pretty time consuming and what’s a little repeated dance scene here or there. Plus, if you look carefully, a lot of the stolen material is in Robin Hood and we can all agree that was not one of Disney’s finest.
You can take the men in green tights, just please don’t taint my love of Lion King.
