It’s funny how things happen sometimes. Just the other day I wanted to feature good movie makeover scenes and none other than She’s All That popped into my head. As much as I liked the movie, I must say I hadn’t thought of it in years. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a clip of the scene and moved on. Then, I flipped the channel and all of a sudden She’s All That is on my TV. With the news of Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar’s pregnancy fresh in my mind, I stayed put.

I missed the makeover scene, but I stumbled onto something so much better: The prom dance sequence.

Clearly, I’m a fan of awkward dancing. But this isn’t just one or two people who do a funny little move. No, this is the entire high school that somehow knows the same intense dance and spontaneously breaks into it without any of the typical teenage cynicism.

What makes it all the better is Usher directing the whole operation.
