Smile! It Could Determine Your Future Marital Happiness

That forced smile in the yearbook photo you wish you could forget? It could predict your future… or at least your future divorce potential.
The study comes out of DePauw University and involved the analysis of hundreds of yearbook and similar old photographs. Based on the pictures, researchers created a “smile intensity score,” in the explanation of which they throw around words like zygomatic major muscle and orbicularis oculi muscles.
Now onto the interesting part. They found that: “The top 10 percent of smilers had a divorce rate of about one in 20, whereas if you were a bottom 10 percent smiler, your chance of divorce was five times more likely!”
Man, upon looking at pre-braces me, I realize… I’m screwed.
