As a general rule, texting is a pretty piss-poor gauge of emotional intent when it comes to communication, but even more so when it comes to a burgeoning relationship.
People who’ve known each other for years commonly experience misunderstandings due to the shortened and devoid-of-human-tone text, so how are you supposed to interpret a near-stranger’s innuendo?
