Mayim Bialik appeared on the season premiere of TLC’s What Not To Wear as their first celebrity guest. Since starring in Blossom way back when, Mayim has gone on to get her PhD in neuroscience. But while she may be smart when it comes to schooling, she’s about as dumb as her fictional brother Joey when it comes to fashion.

But is anyone surprised Mayim needed a makeover?

Blossom’s quirky outfits (confession: I totally had a Blossom hat) could have served as an omen for things to come. Here’s just a taste of Blossom’s fashion foibles that was cute then, but not a good example for later in life.
