Yakima Law Gets Tough on Thongs

Yakima, Washington has a thong infestation. The problem seems to be concentrated in local coffee stands where baristas have been caught wearing see-through clothing, thongs and other skimpy outfits.
To eradicate the problem, which is cutely called “cleavage of the buttocks,” city officials are thinking broader than the chick who serves you your latte. Yakima has changed its indecent exposure law to make anyone who wears see-through apparel, a thong or a G-string in public subject to a misdemeanor violation. That means your racy get-up could cost you 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.
So when in Yakima, do as the Yakimans want you to do. Keep your goodies under wraps and stay out of the prison system.

I think you ment Yakima – not Yakshima.
From a personal standpoint, I am not a fan of thongs poking out or see-through clothing for coffee stand girls, but I have the right to go to another stand.
Clothing should in my opinion fit the situation and scantily clad girls showing but cleavage is not the right look for getting your morning brew.
That said.. the law is stupid. A business should have the right to let or have employees dress however they wish.
The costumers will decide if it is a good or bad thing by spending money (or not) at whatever place they choose.
