Cocktail of the Week: Midnight Swim

It’s that time again… Cocktail of the Week. Because let’s be honest, the only thing you really care about on Friday afternoon is how quickly you can get some alcohol pumping through that overworked body. We’re here to help.
It’s practically summer and the weather is fine (in between all the rain and thunderstorms). What better way to celebrate than to spend some quality time outside. Picnic in the park, frolic among the foliage or at the very least shop at an outdoor mall.
For each of these activities, there’s no doubt a drink that fits the occasion. Today, we’re focusing on the magic of a midnight swim. Newsday‘s got the perfect drink for the outing: The Midnight Swim. Grab your guy, head to the lake, drink and enjoy, but just be careful how much you enjoy. Remember what we learned about getting it on in the water…
Read on for the recipe.
Midnight Swim
1 1/4 ounces tequila
1/2 ounce triple sec
1/4 ounce fresh lime juice
