Monokinis: Fashion Forward and Tan Line Challenged

So by now it’s become clear that fashion smart I am not, but well-read I am. That being said, I’ve read numerous places that the monokini is the “it” style this summer. The monokini is a bikini that’s attached or a one-piece with plenty of cut-outs.
Some say the style is flattering because it offers sex appeal and coverage at the same time. However, at the moment I am concerned with neither sexiness nor coverage. As a native Floridian, I am concerned about the sun and its impact… particularly its affects on tans. Thanks to some carelessness, there are those who suffer from really unfortunate tan lines.
Ever wonder how some of these discoloration disasters happen? Look no further than the monokini. Sure they may look good on now, but what about what you look like later with it off? Those cuts outs aren’t so hot when they leave behind white patches making your guy think more about your mysterious case of leprosy than getting it on with your sexy self.
Check out these seemingly chic pieces and look beyond the “stylishness” to just imagine the terrible tans they will cause. Not exactly the image you want in all your naked glory.
