Famous teens may bring in the dough, but they still have to ask mom and dad for some cash to go to the movies. A lot of child and teen stars have stipulations that they can’t touch their millions until they’re 18 or 20. But it’s still funny to think that Emma Watson, actress in one of the biggest tween franchises ever, has to rely on daddy dearest to shell out a few bucks.

Here are just a few famous faces who still have to be on their best behavior to see any money:

Abigail Breslin

Abigail recently said that now that she’s 13, she’s received a raise in her allowance, bringing her to $13 per week.

Miley Cyrus

As of last year, Miley Cyrus was bringing in $100 in allowance from her parents, though she was pushing for more. 

Emma Watson

Emma, who can’t touch her fortune until she turns 21, once said her dad insists on treating her normally by giving her an allowance.

Sasha and Malia Obama

They may be the president’s daughters, but Sasha and Malia still only receive $1 a week in allowance.

Now for some bigger “kids”…

Britney Spears

Britney has her own kids to give allowances to, but she still receives payouts regulated by Papa Spears.

Jon Gosselin

Rumors swirled that Kate kept her hubby on a $5 a day allowance.
