In the last few years, Hilary Duff has really grown up. Last time we saw her on TV she was in middle school and now she’ll be returning as a college student… and not just any sweatpant-wearing free-food-following college student. Hils will appear on Gossip Girl as movie star Olivia Burke who enrolls in NYU and ends up as Vanessa’s roommate.

How far Hilary has come from her Lizzie McGuire days! But how different could it be? She’s still playing the role of student, just a little more grown up and a little less pig-tailed.
