Cocktail of the Week: Apple Pie Shot
It’s that time again… Cocktail of the Week. Because let’s be honest, the only thing you really care about on Friday afternoon is how quickly you can get some alcohol pumping through that overworked body. We’re here to help.
You knew this week’s selection was going to be Fourth of July themed. However, while the internet is full of cutesy drink recipes in honor of the holiday, I decided to go with a classic. If by classic, you take that to mean fraternity staple for sorority girls.
While apple pie shots are not technically cocktails, drink enough of them and you’ll be seeing fireworks the next morning for sure. In that case, who needs a cocktail?
Have your Americanism served to you in a shot glass and be proud of your country and its baked goods traditions.

Apple Pie Shot
1 oz vodka
1 oz apple cider
1 tablespoon whipped cream
1 pinch ground cinnamon
In a shot glass, combine vodka and apple cider. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and a pinch of cinnamon.
