Robert Pattinson Follows in Daniel Radcliffe’s Footsteps
Ever since Daniel Radcliffe donned his Hogwarts uniform, he’s been an object of affection for the tween scene. But recently, there’s a new teen fantasy franchise favorite in town. Thanks to his starring role in Twilight, Robert Pattinson has sent fans into a frenzy. But is this new heartthrob simply copying Mr. Harry Potter?
Let’s examine the evidence:
Hometown Hotties
Both stars are British and while Pattinson is older and was therefore British earlier, Radcliffe obviously made the London invasion popular with the tweens first.
Pottermania
Radcliffe is Harry Potter, but Pattinson got a break on the magical set as well, playing Cedric Diggory.
Cult followings
A few years after Daniel Radcliffe became the face of all that is Harry Potter, Robert Pattinson took on the lead in the Twilight franchise.
Not so innocent
Daniel Radcliffe broke away from his clean Harry Potter image with a nude scene in the play Equus. In his new movie Little Ashes, Robert Pattinson plays Salvatore Dali and can’t help but strip down for a scene too. Gosh, be original!
