Remember When… “Reality TV” Was All About Slime?

Before game shows meant aiming for a million dollars, stating your final answer and guessing which brief case held by a scantily clad girl will contain the right amounts, there were obstacle courses. Before “reality TV” meant who got dissed this week, the question was who got slimed this week?
Thank you Nickelodeon, for quality programming full of good clean fun (unless you count the slime of course). You Can’t Do That On Television, Double Dare and What Would You Do? were the game shows of my childhood. My brother may or may not have had a Double Dare birthday party. And I may or may not have tried to make slime. Marc Summers, you did good.
Let’s take a slippery, sloppy trip down memory lane.
