There is a brand new word on Urbandictionary.com!  It is a word that I have been using for over 20 years in my everyday vocabulary.  Why is it now on urban dictionary?  Because it rules!  It was added by someone that I know very well.  The secret is out though, it used to be a code word.  I guess we will see if it sticks and people get it.  We even have a sign language for it!

1. Waaz
Laughing your ass off in just one word. can be used as an adjective or a noun. Someone that is just a joke to look at can be a waaz. Waaz can also be used in place of laughing when someone tells you something funny, you can say waaz instead of laughing.
1) Oh my God, this disgusting freak hit on me last night, he was such a waaz.
2) Did you here that Khloe Kardashian married her boyfriend of just two weeks? WAAZ!

New Years is of course a night of drunken debaucheries. With this in mind, we will most likely play drinking games to get us there. I have a few favorite drinking games. Most of which are better with beer, but a couple can be played with mixed drinks. I do recommend beer though, unless you want to be completely sloshed!  Remember to always keep an eye on your drink, you don’t want any roofies put in like in the Hangover!

It is so hard to go to a party and not eat all the yummy, yet fattening appetizers.  You should always eat before you go as long as it’s not a sit down dinner.  If it’s a sit down dinner and you don’t eat, that’s just rude.  If you eat before a cocktail party that is just serving drinks and finger foods you won’t arrive with an empty stomach wanting to eat anything and everything.  You should also always carry a clutch bag, this way one hand is being used at all times making it more difficult for you to shovel food into your mouth.

When you get to the party don’t head right over to the food.  Grab a cocktail and mingle first.  Make sure you get a glass of wine or a low calorie mixed drink.  I like to grab a glass of red wine and then put some cold club soda in it.  It gives it a little bit of bubbly and it seems like I am drinking more.  Or have a vodka and soda with a lime, or cherry vodka and diet coke (tastes just like cherry coke).  Skip the fruit juices, as they can add on hundreds of unwanted calories.

New Years Day is pretty much National Hangover Day.  Sadly, I can actually say that for the last 5 years + I have been mega hungover on New Years Day.  We all have our own remedies for curing hangovers, but this is a serious day and we need more help than just our own remedies.  We all know that drinking water in between drinks, and eating a big meal before we go out doesn’t work.  Maybe some of these hangover cures will help you in your day of need!

There are a lot of New Years resolutions that happen to be the same for a lot of people.  We all try to be better people and the new year is the perfect time to start.  Why can’t we do this just the hell of it instead of just because it’s a new year?  We can’t because it is more motivating and more of a fresh start when the calendar hits January 1st.  This is normally the time to reflect on the past year and think about what we can do to improve ourselves as individuals.

I can’t believe we are going to be entering another decade!  I remember when it was New Years Eve from 1999 to 2000 and we all thought the world would end.  It is nuts how fast time goes by, it feels like yesterday it was 1999, and it was already ten years ago!

Two weeks ago Mason Dash Disick was brought into this world.  This week he is already on news stands.  Who would have thought that the least known Kardashian’s baby would be so famous!?  Kourtney is actually my favorite of the sisters.  I think she is so cute and is always there for her sisters.  Her relationship with Kim and Khloe reminds me a lot of my relationship with my sister.  I think that’s why I like her so much.

She didn’t name the baby after her clothing store, thank God.  That would be SO cheesy.  It was her father’s nickname so it definitely has some meaning.  I can’t wait to see how beautiful this baby grows up to be because he is as cute as it gets now!

I have trouble sleeping almost every single night.  I am always looking for healthy ways to fall asleep rather than the easy way, just popping a pill.  Ever get into bed and you’re so exhausted and you just want to drift off, but your mind is racing a mile a minute?  I feel you… it’s the worst!  I am going to share with you what could be keeping you up at night and how to fall asleep and stay asleep.
