I’ve Got A Beef With Lip Gloss
So I have come to realize that I have some serious beef with lip gloss even though it is still a staple in my every day makeup routine. Last night while I was walking into the bar to have some drinks with friends it was super windy. Like an idiot I had JUST put on lip gloss in the car before getting out. Gotta make sure I look sexy before I make my appearance!
Issue #1: As the wind blows my hair gets stuck in my lip gloss hardcore. Every piece I am able to pull off my lips, more hair gets stuck! This gets me SO mad! We just want to have nice luscious lips, not problems along with them. Might I add lip gloss does not work well in hair!
Issue #2: I am ALWAYS losing my straw from my drink whenever I’m out. I always say “where’s my straw?” and it ends up that it is either stuck in my hair or on the ground next to my feet. Regardless, I look like a fool! Thanks to the lip gloss adding a sticky rim to my straw making it stick to my hair!
Issue #3: No guy wants to kiss you when you have lip gloss on. I hate it! Chapstick, okay. Burts Bees, okay. Even Vaseline, okay. When it comes to lip gloss though, the guys are just not having it!!
Please feel free to share some more issues with lip gloss because this madness needs to stop!! Lip gloss should be our friend! Not our frenemy!!
My 3 favorite lip glosses for the season include:
“Dreamy” Mac Lip Glass- This is a day or night shade. Everytime I wear it I get tons of comliments.
“C-Thru” Mac Lip Glass- C-Thru has been a color that I have been wearing for at least 7 years now. It is in the nude family but adds the perfect amount of shine or can be used on top of a lipstick to tone down the color and add shine.
“Funtabulous” Mac Dazzleglass- It is exactly what the name describes. It’s bright pink with just the right amount of glitter to make your lips dazzle with sexiness and you feel so girly making it even more fun to wear!
