Jessica Simpson Puts Burning Candle in Ear!

We all know Jessica Simpson is a little strange, but this was pretty weird to come across. I have never heard of “ear candles” until now. It actually seems like it would really hurt. Suction on your ears? Ouch!
Jessica was told by her hairstylist Ken Paves that placing the lit candle in her ear would remove wax, so she tried it as he filmed it. Then she put it on Twitter… really? Wow, Jessica. What you will do for attention these days.
These “ear candles” are made of a fabric wrapped into a tube and then coated with a paraffin wax. The candle when lit pulls up in a vacuum effect collecting wax, water, and other particles that shouldn’t be in there. It is also known to open up the ear for better hearing and better balance.
Below is a video of a massage therapist explaining the ear candles.

Ear Candles definitely do not pull ear wax or anything else for that matter out of the ear. However, they do help with ear infections, colds, flus, congestion, sinusitis, etc.
The question is work for what and how? http://www.earcandling.info http://www.harmonycone.com. Websites like Quackwatch (which is paid by the medical monopoly) is correct in their assertions but just because ear candles do not pull ear wax out of the ears does not mean that they do not work.
Good for Jessica for thinking outside of the box and trying something new and different. I am sure she feels more open and clear
Too bad she did not relax more. I hope she tries it again

Nice to know. You learn something new every day. I never would have known about ear candles if it weren’t for Jessica Simpson! Maybe I’ll have to try it sometime.
I really enjoy the process of ear coning or ear candling. It is very relaxing and soothing. I really just wish people could understand the true facts about it. Most of the info people get is all common miss conception and untrue facts. I have done a fair amount of research and found a couple of great places that provide excellent information.
