What is going on in Haiti is just plain devastating.  We are all trying to do what we can in this terrible economy.  We can always count on the Stars and MTV to raise money for a crisis like this.  Tune in tonight at 8 o’clock ET/PT for the benefit concert which will be unbelievable and very meaningful.

Several one-of-a-kind collaborations will highlight the event, including a hookup between U2′s Bono and The Edge with Jay-Z and Rihanna in London and a jam featuring Kid Rock, Keith Urban and Sheryl Crow in Los Angeles; like all the night’s performances, the collabos will be available for download on iTunes for 99 cents the next day.

Performing in New York:

Wyclef Jean, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Shakira, Madonna, and Sting

Performing in Los Angeles:

Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Kid Rock, and Sheryl Crow

Performing in London:

Bono, The Edge, Jay-Z, Beyonce and Rihanna

Other Participants will be:

George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Will Smith, Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, Muhammad Ali, Meryl Streep, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, Jon Stewart, Halle Berry, Denzel Washington, Clint Eastwood, Chris Rock, Ben Stiller, and Stevie Wonder.

If you are going to be home and not out partying tonight, please watch and donate to help Haiti.  This is so terrible and hopefully we can raise enough money to rebuild Haiti.  So many innocent lives taken way too early.  Networks showing the telethon are ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CNN, BET, the CW, HBO, MTV, VH1 and CMT.  It will also be available internationally.
