Every Rose Has Its Thorn

There were a lot of twists and turns on last night’s episode of The Bachelor. It was really no surprise to me who is left but it is still fun to watch the drama. We definitely got to know the girls on a deeper level this episode, and Jake is becoming more and more like Jason Mesnick every day. Not a good thing Jake. Toughen up dude!
The remaining nine girls are told to pack up and that they are about to leave the house in L.A. for good. Two R.V.s are there to take them up the California coast. One bus was Vienna, Corrie, Gia, and Ashleigh. The other was Ali, Ella, Tenley, Jessie, and Kathryn.
It looked like a lot of fun, and Vienna freaked out about there being snakes. She reacted exactly how I’d react! Hilarious!
When Jake greeted all the girls at their first stop, the vineyard, Vienna was really forward with him and rubbed everyone the wrong way. I like how forward she is. I think she is smart for being as aggressive as she is. No one likes her, and I can finally see why. She goes after what she wants and is used to getting what she wants. The other girls are definitely threatened by her, especially Ali.

The first date happened to be the only one on one date and it went to the adorable Gia. At first I wasn’t such a fan, but she really has grown on me and her voice isn’t as annoying as it was the first episode. I am definitely team Gia and I think that she and Jake look great together and have great chemistry. They were super playful starting out by playing Hide and Seek in the vineyard. He picked her up and carried her around like a baby, it was really cute though.

Jake seems less boring when he’s with Gia and a lot more fun than usual. Gia told him that her first kiss was in 9th grade playing spin the bottle, which led to the two of them playing spin the bottle with their empty wine bottle. Their first kiss was really passionate and you could tell there were sparks flying everywhere. If I didn’t know that Vienna wins, I’d think that Gia would be the winner.
Then there was the group date with Jessie, Ashleigh, Tenley, Ali, Corrie, and Vienna… leaving Ella and Kathryn for the two on one date. They’re all at Pismo beach and going on dune buggies. There’s a 4 seater, and two 2 seaters. Ali is once again Jake’s passenger. I loved Vienna’s attitude about it saying she doesn’t care let Ali have her 30 minutes of fun on a dune buggy.
When they were all attempting to sand surf, Tenley and Jake rolled down the hill in each other’s arms. It was cute and definitely meant to be. Tenley is definitely that sweet, beautiful, girl next door. She is finally being more aggressive.

They all sit down on the sand to eat and have wine. Vienna is OF COURSE sitting next to Jake and Tenley is on the other side. Way to be aggressive Vienna, I love it!

Jake asked if anyone wanted to roll down the hill with him and Corrie was the only one to jump up and go with him. At first I thought it was going to be super awkward but they ended up being cute and Corrie let her guard down finally. I don’t see him with Corrie at all but I’m glad she finally got some time in with him.
Jake ABC takes the girls to Madonna Inn. It is an awesome hotel where celebrities go and the girls get to primp in a nice room. Sometimes Vienna looks pretty and sometimes she looks like she got punched in her eyes. I finally see why she looks that way. They showed her putting on her makeup before dinner and she was using brown on her eyes… there’s the black eyes. Not a good choice for her, just draws her face and makes her look sick.
At dinner Ashleigh gets alone time w/Jake and it is just completely awkward. There is no chemistry there what so ever and they have nothing to say to each other except that they think each other is hot. Deep, real deep. After his time with Ash, Jake asks Vienna if she wants to go talk and she says no I wanna be last. The girls are all pissed about this but shoot, smart girl! Finally when they have their alone time, Jake tells Vienna that he thinks she brings on the animosity herself and sometimes it’s better to not say anything. Her time with Jake didn’t go as well as planned.
All the girls talk such shit about Vienna that he is starting to see some red flags. He gave the rose to Tenley in the end, so she was supposedly safe for the rose ceremony.

The two on one date with Ella and Kathryn was just a mess. Jake had them both for dinner and wine at his cabin and it seemed like he was only talking to Ella and not paying any attention to Kathryn. He ended up letting both of them go. I couldn’t see him with either one of them.
At the rose ceremony he already had Gia and Tenley who had roses. He gave one to Ali and then to Corrie. There is Vienna, Jessie, and Ashleigh left with two roses. He stops and goes to get Chris and wants to only give one more rose instead of two. Who does he pick? Vienna, of course. I think he is playing the game smart because why keep girls around that you definitely don’t see yourself with?
We know Vienna wins, and I actually really like her. I like Gia better and hope that either she or Tenley is the next Bachelorette. I just hope he doesn’t get totally screwed in the end and that the rumors of Vienna have a boyfriend at home waiting for her is just a rumor. The show has been playing out exactly how Reality Steve predicted. It’s funny knowing what is going to happen but I still love the drama and love seeing people fall in love.
Hopefully he doesn’t get royally deceived in the end. Who is your favorite? Do you love Vienna or love to hate her?
Below are never before seen pictures from upcoming episodes:

This is from the next episode, Jake and Tenley in San Fransisco.

This is from Gia’s home date with Jake to NYC.

This looks like it is Tenley’s home date.
I have more pictures but you will have to keep checking FLBL to see them! Can’t show you all of them at once!

The best part about the 2 on 1 date with Ella and Kathryn was the food on the table – it kept disappearing, and then it would be back. Jake sat down after coming in from talking with Kathryn – food on the table – He stands up to talk to Ella – food is gone. Then it was back and then it was gone. Quite entertaining.
OMG what horrible editing! I didn’t notice that, that’s so funny! My sister is good at catching stuff like that ALL the time in shows, but we missed it!
