The Real World last night had a lot to do with three small words… I love you.  Josh and Erika made their debut on this past episode.  They weren’t even shown at all since the first episode aired!  I actually think Josh is kind of sexy.  Erika isn’t as dorky as I had thought she was.  There was of course drama with Ty and Emily.  My two least favorites, Ashley and Andrew, were barely on this episode.  I’d say this episode was a success!

Josh hears from his mom, which is totally weird, that someone saw his girlfriend, Ashley, making out with another guy.  His mom wouldn’t give him any names or anything… what a nice mom, huh?  So he called her and asked about it and she was extremely defensive but said she didn’t do anything wrong.  To ease Josh’s pain he wanted to feel some more pain.  Weird way to feel better but to each their own.  He went and got his nose pierced.  It suits him though, I like it a lot.

Ashley, Josh’s teeny tiny girlfriend comes to visit and they have a great time together while she is there, from what they showed us.  After he sends her off to go back to Philly with an emotional goodbye saying “I love you”, he goes out what looked like that night.  He was allover his “friend” Kelly Ann, and ended up bringing her back to the house.  The roommates said they saw them making out.  They didn’t actually show that on camera for us though.

Someone must have taken a picture either out at the club or one of the roommates because his little girlfriend called the next day and said she saw a picture of him making out with another girl on the internet.  Oh Josh!  Not a smart move.  If you’re going to cheat, don’t do it on TV!  It was just very weird to me that he had his girlfriend out to stay with him and pretty much immediately after he cheats on her.  Whether he kissed the girl or not, he crossed a line.  Even if he didn’t kiss her, I’d still consider what he did cheating.

I think it is so stupid when people go on the Real World with long term boyfriends or girlfriends.  It is just setting yourself up for problems.  There is too much temptation when all you have around you is partying and hot girls/guys.  I don’t like that the other roommates are now judging Josh because of his actions.  I think almost anyone in the situation he was put in would do the same thing.

Ty was smart by coming out to D.C. single.  He isn’t smart for getting involved with Emily though.  We all know he is in love with Emily.  I don’t get it, she goes out looking like absolute shit.  She wears her hair up in a messy bun, and she looks like she just went to recess like when you’re little in elementary school.  Ty and Emily play around and act like it is just a physical thing going on, but it is clearly not.  Emily says she doesn’t want to get emotionally invested and committed to a guy.  She is just scared and putting up a front.  Yes, girls can act like guys sometimes by sleeping with someone with no emotions, but in the end we all want that love and commitment.

While everyone is out at a bar, Ty tells Emily he is in love with her.  Totally the wrong thing to do.  Emily didn’t take it well and then it was just pure awkwardness between the two of them for the rest of the episode.  Emily told Ty that they are no longer going to hook up.  We will see how long that lasts.

Erika was on this episode a lot.  Her friends from the band Eye Alaska were in town opening for The Cab.  She brought the girls out to meet up with all of them to have some drinks.

She was introduced to the guys in The Cab and one thing lead to another, and I’m sure MTV had A LOT to do with it, but the lead singer said that they could learn one of her songs and she could perform at their show the next night.

What an amazing opportunity for Erika.  It was very unrealistic but they were on MTV so I’m sure The Cab had a lot more downloads on iTunes since last night.  She did a great job performing and this could be her big break.

Next week’s episode looks crazy.  My least favorite cast mates get into a fight that looks like it gets pretty damn physical.  Hopefully Andrew and Ashley cross the line and get kicked off the show.  Ahh… that would be great!
