Really?  Considering the state this country is in economically you would think that a Senator’s first job after being sworn in might be to do a little good for this country.  I guess I should have expected more from Scott Brown.

After his stunning victory in Massachusetts earlier this month, the media-savvy politico sat down with Barbara Walters on ABC’s This Week and said he’d like Simon Cowell and his Idol cronies to give Ayla Brown another shot. Ayla, a 21-year-old Boston College student, was eliminated after she made it to the Top 16 in 2006 (the season Taylor Hicks won).

A.  This doesn’t really bode too well for the Republican party does it? I mean, it can’t can it?
B.  I’m not sure why I even mentioned why this country is in piss poor shape. Senators are bitching about their daughters not being in American Idol!

This is probably why I’ll never be into politics.  I mean if politicians aren’t even into politics why the hell should we be?  Then again, this seems to be what politics is these days.  And you wonder why other countries are WAY ahead of us right now.
