Corrie was sent home last night on the Bachelor.  Just as predicted, the final four are Tenley, Ali, Gia, and last but not least Vienna.  This past episode was in San Francisco, Ali’s home away from home.  There were 4 dates total, 3 of which were one-on-ones and 1 was a two-on-one date.  There was of course drama in this episode between Ali and Vienna, as usual.  The dates this time weren’t so extreme that it was unrealistic, but it sucks knowing who is going to win, especially when it’s not who you want…

Tenley got the first date, they went to China town and made their own fortune cookies which they saved for after dinner later.  They make such a cute couple, and I could really see these two together.  She is so pretty and sweet.

Jake takes Tenley to Coit Tower, where there is a table set up on the roof for a romantic dinner with a beautiful view of the city.  Jake said he can picture Tenley the most as his wife out of the girls but he has reservations because of her divorce, which he brings up at dinner.  After they talked about the mistakes Tenley made in her marriage and what she regrets, they both felt better about it all.  I think Tenley is by far the most mature girl left.  Vienna and Corrie are only 23, they’re babies!  Tenley is the one with the best head on her shoulders and is very well grounded.

Tenley had some questions of her own and wanted to know what marriage looked like to Jake and what his expectations of his wife were.  His answer was pretty generic but from the heart.  He basically wants to be respected and wants his wife to have his back no matter what.  He understands that a marriage can’t be perfect but love can be.  I thought that was cute.

Since being cheated on by her ex-husband, Tenley has insecurities about cheating, who would blame her?  She asks Jake about being a pilot and faithfulness and he made her feel better by saying that cheating is a choice and that the woman he marries will be the last woman he looks at.  Good answer, Jake!

When they finish dinner they look at their fortunes that they both wrote and each got “kiss me”.  Jake said “great minds think alike”.  It was all very cute, but the more I watch of Jake the more I think he is a dork.  He is very hot, don’t get me wrong, but he’s a dork!  Why would he wear a mock-turtle neck?  That is just not fashionable Jake!

Back at the hotel there was a knock at the door and Corrie gets it to find a date card.  She reads, “Ali and Vienna, Come be the queens in my castle”.  Ali said, “I feel sick right now”.  Corrie starts laughing and says she was kidding.  Good one Corrie!  She finally brought SOMETHING to the table!  The two-on-one date it for Gia and Vienna.  Vienna and Ali of course go at it.  Ali really turned out to be a little bitch.

The next day at the door is a huge trunk full of clothes for Vienna and Gia to pick out of to wear to the Castle date.  I thought it was hilarious when Vienna said, “That was really sweet of him, it meant a lot”.  Right, like Jake really picked out all the clothes and prepared everything.

I felt so bad because Gia was so worried that she was going to be a third wheel because Vienna is so outgoing and she is more reserved.  Their date is at a castle winery which is just gorgeous.  Jake was trying his hardest to not make one girl feel more important than the other.  Vienna doesn’t care and even says to the cameras that she is going to pretend that Gia isn’t there.  She did a damn good job at it.  It’s a smart way to play a game, but also a way to make people hate you more.

I liked Vienna a lot until this episode.  I know I made fun of her for being Big Bird and all, and now, the name is BACK in full effect.  She is a sneaky bitch and a drama queen who is almost at stalker level, if that’s possible on the Bachelor.  She brings up Ali and cries and makes it totally awkward for Gia and Jake.  Jake picked up on it and he took Gia out for alone time and she said to Big Bird, “You can eat my salmon”.  It was classic.

I love Jake and Gia together.  When they’re finally by themselves they are much more comfortable and affectionate with each other.  He boosts her confidence and tells her that he is falling for her and that the dates with the other girls don’t have the amazing moments that he has with Gia.  They have SUCH great chemistry together.  They make out for what seems to be a long time… nice!!

While Gia and Jake are having their alone time, Big Bird goes to find them.  I thought that was royally fucked up.  She is freaking out and wants to find Jake.  Gia and Jake are finally having a moment and she of course wants to ruin it.  She finally finds them and gets her own alone time with him, her plan the whole time.

During their alone time her legs are on his lap like what Gia was talking about earlier to Jake… how she thought that was their thing and then realized he does it with all the girls.  Jake was clearly being distant to Big Bird and she says she doesn’t want to share him anymore.  Wow Big Bird, chill out, there were still 4 other girls in the game at this point.  Not cool.

They are all staying in the castle overnight and Jake shows the girls to their room.  They get into bed and then Big Bird tells Gia that she is going to sneak downstairs and see Jake.  Gia was obviously not pleased.  Jake thought it was hot that Big Bird came down with two glasses of wine but he felt bad and didn’t want Gia to think that anything was going on.  It got awkward when Jake told Big Bird that she needed to go back upstairs, leaving Big Bird unsure of her decision to go down there.  I think she is becoming a stalker at this point.  Back off girl!

Corrie, “love is a walk in the park- Jake”

Corrie is a sweet girl but doesn’t seem to have too much to her.  She and Jake hadn’t kissed up until this date and that just increased the awkwardness.  They go in a row boat, like in The Notebook, it was so romantic.  Since their relationship had moved so slow and they hadn’t kissed the date was action packed with awkward moments.

They go to the Science Center for dinner and it is completely empty, just the two of them.  It was really cool, but they just don’t have that spark.  At dinner we got to know Corrie a little bit better.  We find out that Corrie is a virgin and saving herself for marriage.  That explains why she hasn’t opened up.  That is so respectable and I think that is great.  Jake finally kisses her once she opened up, finally.  He respects her for what she told him.  He would, he is a genuinely nice guy.

I knew before the episode that Corrie was off this episode but I still just didn’t see any chemistry between the two of them AT ALL!

Gia read Ali’s date card, “I want to leave my heart in San Francisco, show me your city”.  She gets to plan the date, how perfect since she currently lives there.  When Jake came to get Ali, Big Bird of course had to run and answer the door.  Tenley and Gia both looked beautiful as usual, and Corrie and Big Bird looked like crap.  Wouldn’t you make yourself look presentable if you knew a guy you were trying to make fall in love with you was coming?

The whole time Jake is with Ali he has something on his mind.  He wants to talk to her about what Big Bird said to him at the castle.  Over champagne he brings up the last rose ceremony pretty much talking about Big Bird.  He basically says that he doesn’t see what the girls see when he is with Big Bird.  He said that she is incredibly honest and that she goes out of her way to let him know that she is there for him.  Ali said she was ready to let the subject go.  Finally!

At the cocktail party before the rose ceremony Tenley and Gia look stunning but Big Bird looked like a mess.  I don’t know what she was thinking with her hair!  He pulled Tenley aside for some one on one time and they danced.  It was really cute and sweet.  Big Bird was pulled aside last and he wanted to make it up to her from the other night because it wasn’t the right time to spend more time together.  He brought her to his room and told her not to worry about the other night while they were out on the balcony.

At the rose ceremony the order was Tenley, Ali, Gia and then Big Bird.  He always calls her last.  I don’t know why.  It’s weird.  Corrie went home, as she should have.  She is a sweet and young girl, I think too young.  I think Big Bird is too young for him too and too immature and at definitely at stalker status, after seeing this episode.

Looks like the predictions were correct and Big Bird is in fact the winner.  We will see…
