Gossip Girl star, Blake Lively, decided to just fly to Miami and have no where to stay for Super Bowl Weekend.  She thought that when she arrived she’d be able to find a spare hotel room.  She went to the hotel where her co-stars Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick were staying only to find out there was no room for her.  All of the hotels were at full capacity.  Wow, what a surprise.  She really got lucky…

After trawling several other establishments in a bid to locate a spare room, Lively faced the prospect of flying home, until two female reporters from Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper spotted the star and handed over the key to their room.
And Lively was stunned by their generosity, reportedly telling the journalists, “I just wanted to come out here so badly as Super Bowl is so much fun. I just couldn’t miss it, the atmosphere is amazing. Now I’m excited, thank you. I’ve only just flown in from New Orleans and I thought I’d just turn up and get somewhere where my friends are staying but everything is gone. I seriously thought I’d have to turn around and go home.”
According to the gossip columnists, Lively handed over her VIP pass to the DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl game in exchange for the room.

It was so nice of them to give her their room!  It’s nice to hear that she was very appreciative too.  I love Blake Lively and I’m glad to hear she wasn’t a snobby bitch!  I can’t wait for Gossip Girl to start back up March 8th!
