On last night’s episode of The Bachelor Jake was big pimpin’!  He got to spend 3 consecutive nights with 3 different girls.  It’s so funny that that is okay.  I thought his date with Gia went really well and I absolutely LOVE her.  She looked beautiful and I thought they had some great chemistry together. The best part was when they were walking around town with their coconuts and they went to dance and Jake was possibly the worst dancer I have ever seen.  I definitely rewound it a couple times with my sister and laughed.

It is really too bad that the spoilers were true.  I just don’t see him with Big Bird in the long run…

After reading a card from Chris at dinner to see if he and Gia wanted to take the Fantasy Sweet for the night, they both agreed to do it.  I really can’t imagine falling for three guys at once, but I guess maybe if I was in that position I could relate.  I just don’t get how he could really be falling in love with all of the girls.  I think Gia is too cool for Jake anyway.

Jake took Tenley on the second date and took her up in a helicopter into a rain forest so they could have a picnic.  She gets so giddy around him like a little school girl.  It is so cute, I am just so upset that she is going to have her heart broken after finally opening up to someone after her divorce.  The girl has only been with one guy so I can imagine how big of a deal it was to open up again.

I thought their date went more than well.  They really seem absolutely perfect for each other and you can just tell how comfortable they feel together.  When they had dinner that night they danced and she loved it and said she wanted to dance with him forever.  It is like a fairy tale with the two of them.

Then there was Big Bird’s date…  Jake took her on a boat that was on Pirates of the Caribbean.  As if he really planned the date but it was definitely frickin’ cool!  Big Bird’s body was a lot better than I expected, she actually has a pretty sick body.  Not too skinny at all, very toned.  Didn’t expect that really since she is bigger than all the other girls, but I guess Gia and Tenley are tiny…

Jake and BB are very playful when they’re together… I think it’s because they don’t REALLY have any real chemistry and she has to make it seem like she loves life and is always a happy person.  No one is that giggly and happy all the time, come on now.  She made Jake put on a Pirate Patch over his eye, it was funny but Jake is SUCH a dork.  He made her walk the plank and then pushed her in the water.  She laughed but I would have grabbed him and pulled him in with me… not cool!

Later that night at dinner BB told Jake she was falling in love with him.  That is all he needed to hear and I think her being younger and immature he wants her more and more.  I don’t know why but he is super attracted to her.

Then there was the famous phone call from Ali.  She made a mistake leaving and wants to come back.  I think Ali and Jake are great together but who’s to say that she isn’t going to flake on him again.  I think he was smart not bringing her back.  It was messed up that she left in the first place.  She is 25 and yes she has a job, but if you find the love of your life and really truly believe that… hell, I’d leave my job for true love.

I’m glad he didn’t let her back.

I guess good looks don’t get you that far in life just like people say.  When you grow old the only thing that stays the same is inner beauty.  I think Gia is by far the most beautiful of the three girls on the outside, but that doesn’t matter to Jake.  I guess that is a good thing about him.  He is looking for what is inside more than outside but still… Big Bird?

I knew Gia was the one who was sent home from the spoilers but she was really mature about it.  She cried but she wasn’t a baby like Ali.  She told Jake that she was happy for him and that she thinks the two girls left are really great girls.  What a nice girl… seriously.  I hope she is the next Bachelorette.  I wanted it to be Tenley at first, but the way Gia handled getting sent home showed so much dignity and maturity.  I love Gia!

Can’t wait to see what happens in 2 weeks on the finale.  I am pretty sure Big Bird wins… as everything has been right up until here.  I just think he is making the wrong choice but what do I know?  Maybe they are really happy together and maybe she really did fall in love with him.  For his sake, I hope she wasn’t putting on a front.
