Tony Perkins, an online dater asshole scumbag, slept with at least 26 women in the past 6 years and never told any of them that he has AIDS.  So far, none of the women have been diagnosed with HIV or AIDS.

Perkins pleaded guilty Wednesday in Johnson Superior Court to two felony counts of failing to warn a sexual partner that he had HIV or AIDS. Sentencing is set for April 21. He was arrested Friday after a former girlfriend reported him.

The case likely is the first conviction in Indiana under a 1993 law requiring people with HIV, AIDS and hepatitis B to inform their partners, said Steve Johnson, executive director of the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council.

“It serves a valid purpose,” Johnson said of the law. “It lets people know that you are facing prison time if you know you have HIV and you have consensual sex with someone and don’t warn them.”

Tony met women on the dating website Plenty Of Fish.  He would meet them in bars from Greenwood to Louisville, Kentucky.  He is a divorcee and has four daughters.  His oldest daughter who is 21 years old said that her father wasn’t looking for women to infect.  He has been ashamed of his disease since he was diagnosed in 2004 and every time that he told a date that he had AIDS they would disappear.  You can’t blame someone for disappearing after a bomb is dropped like that.

I would think if you have AIDS that you would try to find a companion who also has AIDS.  I know there are dating websites for that kind of stuff, right?  There has got to be.  This is a really sad and sick story.  He was just looking for a relationship, but the key to any relationship is trust.  How can you trust someone if they have kept a secret as big as AIDS from you?
