Jake Gets His Mesnick-esque Tears From Daddy
The night we have all been waiting for finally happened. The Bachelor, Jake Pavelka, picked his future wife, Vienna Girardi. We all knew this was coming but watching him break Tenley’s heart was SO incredibly sad. I am going in the complete opposite direction from when I started watching this season’s The Bachelor. I think Vienna was the right girl for Jake in the end. We all judged Vienna on hearsay and you know what, we don’t have to like her… he truly loves her. Hopefully that exaggerated image that was portrayed of her was exactly that, exaggerated. I hope this for Jake and Vienna’s sake. I don’t think that is the case because why would there be all of this controversy if there wasn’t a backbone to it? Either way, we don’t have to wake up next to her, he does.
Jake and Tenley looked like the picture perfect couple, but they would of been so boring together. She is a sweet and beautiful girl, but at the same time, I think they were way too similar. When he said goodbye to her, she wasn’t resentful at all. I feel like she handled it exactly how he would handle that situation.
Opposites attract, right? That was exactly the case on this season with Jake and Vienna. On the After The Final Rose show, Vienna looked the best she had looked all season. Her hair is finally a pretty blond color, her extensions don’t look nappy, and her makeup was done right… finally! We may not like her but we also don’t see her how Jake does. I think she does actually bring out the best in him. He seems so happy and into her. I really hope their relationship lasts and that she doesn’t end up screwing him over. She was definitely the excitement that was missing from his life.
The next Bachelorette was revealed and I don’t think any of us are surprised that it is Ali. She looked amazing. Maybe she’ll have a relationship with a producer and stir up some serious drama… or not. She says she wants 50 guys not 25… she also says that she is looking for that feeling more than anything. Hopefully she finds love again. Can’t wait til that airs in May!
Oh yeah, and Molly and Mesnick… the ORIGINAL cry baby, are having their wedding shown on ABC next Monday March 8, 2010. I loved how Chris Harrison even referred to Jake’s crying as half-Mesnick. I was dying!
Do you think Vienna was the right choice in the end? I can’t believe how much my views have changed since watching the finale last night. She still isn’t my favorite but I do think she will make Jake’s life more fun and less boring.
Or did you think Tenley was Mrs. Right for Jake?

I watched the show last night and what I found most interesting was Jake’s family. Tenley was clearly a great fit with his family hands down! No one liked Vienna initially and then the big turn around……………I think something was fishy with that. You are right Roxy, it is Jake that has to wake up next to Vienna each day and as long as he is happy. Good thing she is moving to Dallas bc I just couldn’t see him in that 1 traffic light town in Florida!
Tenley was better looking and very sweet, but in the end she was pretty lame and had zero sex appeal. Vienna was the right choice; she excites Jakes like Tenley couldn’t.
I really didn’t like Vienna for most of the show. However, in the end you could tell how much he loved her. Hopefully everything works out for them.
Yeah I agree that Tenley was MUCH better looking, but at the same time she was super boring and too Disney Princessish.
