Michael Jackson Tribute Scheduled For This Summer

I still can’t believe that Michael Jackson is really dead. It is hard to even think that on June 25th it will be a year that he is gone. He will ALWAYS be the king of pop and no one will ever replace him. His brother, Jermaine Jackson, has booked London’s Wembley Arena on June 8th. It will be called “Tribute By Jermaine“.
Although no actual performers have been announced yet, the tribute is promised to be a star-studded event. The tribute will be filmed and is expected to be released on DVD. Jermaine’s goal is to create the largest tribute of all time, something he feels very fitting for his brother. Michael’s dedicated fans would probably agree.
This sounds like it is going to be an awesome show and very meaningful. Hopefully Jermaine is really in this whole thing to remember his brother and not in it for the money as some people think. I don’t think he is in it for the money at all. It’s his brother for God’s sake. Family means the world to me, so I just can’t see it that way at all.
Anyway, I am looking forward to this tribute as I am sure a lot of MJ fans are. Every tribute so far has been so incredibly emotional that I will be sure to have a box of tissues at my side for this one.
Let’s take a moment to remember how talented and unique MJ was with some of his kick ass videos… after the jump.
This video brings me back to my childhood when I would sit in awe in front of the TV watching MJ.
I love his version of Come Together. It is in my car… ALWAYS.
“What’s the problem?”- best line in the entire video. LOVE it!
