Police found a video showing a 3-year-old trying to light up a glass pipe while his dad lay next to him and his mom film him.

Officers found the video while executing a search warrant at the Prospect St. home of Kristian Augeri, 23, and Thomas Way, 22, the Middletown Press reported. The arrests were made Feb. 2.

The video allegedly shows the couple’s child trying to light a glass pipe with a lighter, according to the paper. Way was laying next to the child, and Augeri appears to be the one filming the incident. At one point the child appeared to inhale and then start to cough, police said.

The family is denying it and saying that he wasn’t smoking pot. I think these young parents are unsuited for this child if they are going to be leaving drug paraphernalia around for their little guy to get his hands on. Most parents wait at least until their kids are in high school before the start smoking weed with them, right?  3 is just way to young to even have that around!

The dad of Thomas, so, the 3-year-old’s grandfather brushed it off like it wasn’t a big deal.  He also probably has less teeth than his grandson.
