When You’re Pregnant, You Don’t Only Eat For Two, But You Also Exercise For Two

Exercising regularly keeps us fit. If you’re pregnant and you exercise throughout your pregnancy, you lower the risk of having an obesity-prone baby.
Mothers-to-be who underwent fitness training on exercise bikes had lighter babies than women who did nothing, scientists found.
But their babies were not shorter in length and there was no evidence that they lacked nutrition.
Dr Paul Hofman, from the University of Auckland in New Zealand, said: ‘Our findings show that regular aerobic exercise alters the maternal environment in some way that has an impact on nutrient stimulation of fetal growth, resulting in a reduction in offspring birth weight.
Nice to know, huh? How to start your baby off right, you need to stay in shape. I see tons of women get super fat while they are pregnant. I’m sure it is really difficult to fight off your ridiculous cravings, but think about the well being of your new baby, and maybe you’ll think twice about that double-quarter pounder with cheese meal.
