Fabulous & successful shoe designer, Christian Louboutin, likes to design his shoes when he is completely isolated from everything.  He even has dreams about shoes.  He likes to be in places where he feels comfortable.  I can understand… he needs to get those creative juices flowing and get inspired without any distractions.

“I always design my winter collections somewhere cold, like my house in the country or France, or in Portugal. And I do my summer season in summer spots like my boat on the Nile.”

Christian – whose designs are a favorite with the likes of Victoria Beckham, Sarah Jessica Parker and Beyonce Knowles – says he is so obsessed about shoes he dreams about them.

He said: “I dream about shoes. They often look silly in reality, but it happens all the time – I see them while I’m asleep and I wake up, just desperate to recreate them.”

That is awesome. He is so incredibly passionate about what he does that he even dreams about designs in his sleep. It is such a privilege to love what you do. You know what they say, when you find a job that you love, you’ll never work a day again! It is SO true.
