The new face of Sunglass Hut is the beautiful Rachel Bilson.  She is usually photographed in the tabloids sporting some kind of trendy frames.  She always looks cute and stylish, I would say she is the perfect person for this position.  She has been named the first ever ambassador for Sunglass Hut.

She told WWD: “I was very flattered when Sunglass Hut approached me to do this. I can’t say what makes me a good style adviser for them, but I am a huge sunglasses addict. I don’t leave the house without a pair.”

Rachel will front the company’s advertising campaigns and also write a trend blog for the company as well as hosting online chats and video podcasts with people in the fashion industry.

Fabio d’Angelantonio, CEO of Sunglass Hut, explained his reasons for choosing Rachel.

He said: “We wanted a symbol of our philosophy, somebody who’s familiar and relevant to our target consumer, but at the same time was herself sunglasses obsessed.”

Rachel’s first interview will be with designer Tory Burch, and she is also hoping to meet Karl Lagerfeld at some point in the future, as he is another huge fan of shades.

I love Rachel Bilson and I am excited to see more of her. She is so cute, how could you not love her? Sunglasses look great on her, and I think this will definitely boost sunglass sales.
