Here at For Ladies by Ladies we’re all about feeling good and talking about the latest issues in women.  Usually the fun comes in the form of entertainment or laughter generated by some celebrity in a silly outfit.  Sometimes it comes in the form of fashion that makes us think.  But today we’ve got something a little different.

The launch of Jimmyjane’s World has provided us with a new world of pleasure we might not have known until now.  As you’ll see from the video above, here’s a place where women can talk about their most wild desires and needs.   Even more so women can now have a fashionable line of Jimmyjane products that enable them to take care of these “needs” without waiting to ride the back of a motorcycle.  Yes it works! If it were only that simple in the world.  If only we could always tell the truth.  If only no one reacted or even cared about our true selves!  But unfortunately we do live in the real world where people have thoughts and feelings.

Women especially are taught to hide them.

Here are five things that nearly all of us keep secret….

Commitment

The universal stereotype is that men are afraid of commitment. Many of them are, but the counter-assumption is that women are never afraid of commitment, are always ready for it, and that simply isn’t true. Girls just tend to keep it a secret — and to deal with it, by expressing it, discussing it, and coming to understand it.

Weight Issues

Most women including myself keep their weight a secret, even from their spouses.  Doctors know, and that’s about it. No matter what your weight or your body type, it can just be exceedingly difficult to make that revelation to anyone, even the people you love the most. There’s an insecurity there, a fear of judgment or recrimination. Simply put, it can be  awful.

Hair!

With the exception of a few escaped childhood pictures, guys may never know what their girlfriends and wives look like with their natural hair color. If your girlfriend colors her hair, you’ll just have to use your imagination. I’m guilty of this. I hide under hats when my roots start to show. It’s not so much that I’m ashamed of my natural color, I just couldn’t wait for the color to completely fade.

Hating High Heels

Although this is by no means true for every woman, a lot of the girls I talked to, and I myself, were in agreement about their hatred of high heels. They wear them a lot, but they’ll rarely admit it because they know it’s illogical and that they could be wearing something more comfortable.

Orgasms

A lot of the women I talked to copped to faking orgasms some of the time. I admit to this one myself — and never told. It’s not that you don’t want to be honest with your partner, but sometimes it depends on the partner. You never want to hurt your lover, but it’s great when you can get your relationship that open.

I decided to share my point of view in addition to Roxy’s.

As if I couldn’t possibly think any lower of this utter waste of space what does Spencer Pratt do now?  Well actually he’s doing us a favor by getting off of television but it’s not like he’s getting off this planet which truly bothers me.

Currently studying software engineering with a focus on encryption at USC, Pratt said he’s headed to work for American Defense Enterprises in their cyber security division.

“Upon learning of President Obama’s declaration that the ‘cyber threat is one of the most serious economic and national security challenges we face as a nation,’ I have decided to refocus my energy and devote my full resources to helping America face this and other unprecedented challenges,” he said.

Wait a second. Is anyone actually going to take this guy seriously? And you’re telling me American Defense Enterprises is actually giving this dolt a job? Um, can’t we just show them like 2 minutes of footage of Pratt acting like a total jackass to make them change their minds?

You’re really going to count on this guy to thwart cyber threats to national security? Really? I mean I thought I’d have to leave this country eventually but now my timeline just got way way smaller.

According to WWTD - Lindsay Lohan spends most of her time in Paris these days, because the attitude over there is more relaxed than in LA or New York and she can just be herself for a little while before getting back to acting.

While this very well might be true, that doesn’t change the fact that the real reason she’s there is because Paris just might be a little more tolerant of her looking exactly like Boy George now.

Do you really want to hurt…me?  Do you really want to let me dowwwwwnnn!

Here’s an absolutely shit-faced Christina Ricci in Paris last night, and is anyone at all surprised to see Lindsay Lohan at the scene of the crime? That’s like seeing a fish in the ocean. If the ocean was 3/4ths gin.

Oddly enough Lindsay Lohan attended the same party.   Wait a second.  Wait just a God damned minute here.  Was it not Lindsay Lohan who admitted like 3 days ago that she had major drug problems, was depressed, possibly suicidal?  Am I missing something?  Now she’s suing because of a baby on E-Trade and still getting wasted at parties?   I was pretty sure I respected her less than cockroaches before.  Now I think it’s less than Gorilla Poop.

Oh yeah, Ricci.  WTF?  Don’t ever go to a party Lohan attends and out do her.  It’s just bad press.

It was bound to happen sooner or later wasn’t it?   I mean you had to think that at some point Lady Gaga would officially be termed “unsafe.”  Well now she is.

POP phenomenon Lady Gaga took her pledge never to be seen in normal clothes to a dangerous new level when her legs began to swell on a flight from London to the US due to another odd outfit.

The US singer boarded a long-haul flight at Heathrow Airport wearing black and yellow tape and giant blue shoes designed by her friend, the late Alexander McQueen, and needed to be undressed by cabin crew later on

Well we’re all glad you’re being so “true” to yourself Lady. Are you happy about this? Wearing tape? Really? There’s fashion statement and then there’s borderline insane. I just can’t buy that she isn’t at least a little certifiable.

Can’t really have too much of a Poker Face when your legs are swelling up in front of your friends.

If any of you have been following the news, this guy, Robert Halderman was finally taken in on charges.

David Letterman’s extortionist, a former producer for the CBS news program “48 Hours Mystery, pleaded guilty Tuesday to attempting to extort $2 million dollars from Letterman by threatening to reveal affairs with women who worked on his CBS late show.

And that lead me to think of some other people out there who might actually be worth extorting from. Sure, Letterman is an easy target but he seems like a fun enough guy where I wouldn’t want to take two million bucks from him.

Here are five people I would love to take advantage of.

Lindsay Lohan – she sucks, period. Trying to get 100 million out of E-trade because of a baby commercial? Yeah. She sucks.
Heidi Montag – I’d like to extort some of that plastic and build something out of it.
Spencer Pratt – Just because
Jay Leno – He’s got over 100 cars, I’m sure he’d give up a few. Plus, he sucks.
Khloe Kardashian – She’s just not nearly as hot as her sisters

I hadn’t realized it.  And I’m sure most of the people watching hadn’t realized it.  But amongst those deceased who were honored at this year’s Oscars there was one glaring omission.

Ryan O’Neal is drafting a letter to the members of the Academy to complain about the fact his longtime lover Farrah Fawcett was omitted from the Oscars In Memoriam tribute to dead stars.

Oscars bosses are refusing to accept the omission was “an oversight,” insisting not every deceased star makes the list for the tribute.

Refusing to say it was an oversight? Well that’s even worse for O’Neal to stomach. I would think that Fawcett merited a mention no? After all she was one of the original Angels and considered to be one of the hottest women of the late 70s and early 80s.

This isn’t a knock on other deceased actors who have been honored at the Oscars but there have been way less famous and influential people mentioned in the past. I think O’Neal has a good point and I too would be curious to know about the omission.
