Lil’ Wayne was supposed to appear in court in Arizona, but he is behind bars in New York. How does that work?

An Arizona judge issued a bench warrant Tuesday (3/16/2010) for Grammy Award-winning rapper Lil Wayne after he failed to appear for a hearing on drug and weapons charges because he is serving jail time in New York.

Lil Wayne’s attorney, James Tilson, said his client couldn’t appear because he is already serving a one-year jail sentence for having a loaded gun on his tour bus. The rapper began serving that sentence March 8 at the Rikers Island jail complex.

Lil Wayne was arrested in January 2008 at a border checkpoint 78 miles east of Yuma after authorities say they found cocaine, Ecstasy and a handgun on his tour bus.

Whoa, looks like Lil’ Wayne is quite the party boy, huh? In jail in one state, but needs to appear in court in another. What a bad ass. Wonder if he will behave and get out of jail in 8 months rather than 12.

David Schwimmer who is 43 is engaged to Zoe Buckman, who is 24.  Good for him, getting the younger lady and all, but I can’t imagine dating someone 19 years older than me!  Unlike his Friends character, Dr. Ross Gellar, this will be his first marriage, as well as hers.

The former Friends star reportedly met Buckman in London while he was there directing the 2007 comedy Run Fatboy Run.

I love David Schwimmer. I wish he and Jennifer Aniston would just get married.. but obviously that is not real life. Don’t we all just love Rachel & Ross?
Anyway, I wish many many happy years and long happy life together for David and Zoe. Glad he is getting married for REAL!

I saw Alice In Wonderland last night and it wasn’t what I had expected or hoped for. I thought that I was going to be taken to this magical place where flowers talk, and so do animals. I was also expecting colors and beautiful things to look at like in Avatar. I didn’t get any of these things the way I wanted.  The animals that did talk, weren’t that cool, and the flowers that talked barely had any screen time.
The classic Alice in Wonderland Disney cartoon has many fans which consist of children, adults that are children at heart, and of course, stoners. This version of the film does not, and will never compare to the Disney cartoon version. Mia Wasikowska was nice to watch as Alice, I think this is going to get her some more roles because her acting was great, just not the movie.
I liked how Tim Burton made it so Alice went back to Wonderland after having gone as a child and thinking it was all just a big dream. When she went the first time it was colorful and full of life, then when she went back at 19, it had turned into a very dark place due to the Red Queen.

The night we have all been waiting for finally happened.  The Bachelor, Jake Pavelka, picked his future wife, Vienna Girardi.  We all knew this was coming but watching him break Tenley’s heart was SO incredibly sad.  I am going in the complete opposite direction from when I started watching this season’s The Bachelor.  I think Vienna was the right girl for Jake in the end.  We all judged Vienna on hearsay and you know what, we don’t have to like her… he truly loves her.  Hopefully that exaggerated image that was portrayed of her was exactly that, exaggerated.  I hope this for Jake and Vienna’s sake.  I don’t think that is the case because why would there be all of this controversy if there wasn’t a backbone to it?  Either way, we don’t have to wake up next to her, he does.

Jake and Tenley looked like the picture perfect couple, but they would of been so boring together.  She is a sweet and beautiful girl, but at the same time, I think they were way too similar.  When he said goodbye to her, she wasn’t resentful at all.  I feel like she handled it exactly how he would handle that situation.

Opposites attract, right?  That was exactly the case on this season with Jake and Vienna.  On the After The Final Rose show, Vienna looked the best she had looked all season.  Her hair is finally a pretty blond color, her extensions don’t look nappy, and her makeup was done right… finally!  We may not like her but we also don’t see her how Jake does.  I think she does actually bring out the best in him.  He seems so happy and into her.  I really hope their relationship lasts and that she doesn’t end up screwing him over.  She was definitely the excitement that was missing from his life.

The next Bachelorette was revealed and I don’t think any of us are surprised that it is Ali.  She looked amazing.  Maybe she’ll have a relationship with a producer and stir up some serious drama… or not.  She says she wants 50 guys not 25… she also says that she is looking for that feeling more than anything.  Hopefully she finds love again.  Can’t wait til that airs in May!

Oh yeah, and Molly and Mesnick… the ORIGINAL cry baby, are having their wedding shown on ABC next Monday March 8, 2010.  I loved how Chris Harrison even referred to Jake’s crying as half-Mesnick.  I was dying!

Do you think Vienna was the right choice in the end?  I can’t believe how much my views have changed since watching the finale last night.  She still isn’t my favorite but I do think she will make Jake’s life more fun and less boring.

Or did you think Tenley was Mrs. Right for Jake?

A British teacher drank cleaning fluid and killed herself after pictures of her naked were posted on Facebook.

Emma Jones was working in Abu Dhabi when one of her colleagues spotted the explicit images on the networking website, the Cardiff hearing was told.
The 24-year-old was frightened of being jailed in the strict Muslim country after the male co-worker accused her of being a prostitute, her mother claimed.

Jones was in Abu Dhabi teaching English to eight-year-olds.  She didn’t think that she was going to be able to get out of the Middle East without being thrown in jail because of how she was portrayed.  Poor girl.  She just kept making bad decision after bad decision.  She moved to a country where women aren’t treated the way they should, she let someone take naked pictures of her, AND last but not least, she drank poison.  BAD decisions Emma.  Bad girl.

This is why you should NEVER let anyone take naked pictures of you!!  Even if they’re your own, make sure no one ever sees them!

These earthquakes and tsunamis are terrifying.  Thank God that Chile isn’t Haiti.  The earthquake in Chile was a lot stronger than Haiti’s but the wealth Chile derives from being the world’s third-largest copper producer proved a significant barrier against mass destruction.

Central Chile was severely affected by the earthquake, which struck at 3.34am and was followed by violent aftershocks. Much of the country lost power, water supplies and communications.

The earthquake damaged 1.5m houses in Chile, one third of them seriously. Cars overturned, roads were split by fissures and the country suffered more than 100 aftershocks many of them stronger than five on the Richter scale.

On May 22, 1960, southern Chile was hit by the most powerful earthquake recorded, at a magnitude of 9.5. At least 1,600 people died. As a result, almost every large building constructed in Chile can withstand tremors.

Glad that the building codes in Chile are strict and that they have been prepared for years.  The roads and highways on the other hand there was no helping as you can see above.

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who was effected by this terrible catastrophe.  I feel like bad things happen in threes.  Hopefully, this time, that isn’t true and I am proved wrong.

In the Orlando SeaWorld, a 30-year-old killer whale actually lived up to its name on Wednesday February 24, 2010, by drowning a trainer in front of horrified onlookers.

Police said 40-year-old Dawn Brancheau slipped and fell into his pool, but a witness said the orca rose up from the water and grabbed her by the waist and shook her.

The 30-year-old, 5-ton marine mammal – the largest killer whale in captivity – has killed before: He drowned a biology student in 1991 and a naked, dead gatecrasher was found draped on his back in 1999.

The previous incidents were not attacks but misguided attempts by the otherwise docile whale to play, experts said.

But Tilikum, nicknamed Telly, is getting old and he may be getting cranky. Florida park guest Victoria Biniak told WKMG-TV that Brancheau was outlining the upcoming show to tourists when the huge orca – who is not one of the whales that trainers get in the water with – suddenly loomed from the water.

“Telly took off really fast in the tank, and he came back, shot up in the air, grabbed the trainer by the waist and started thrashing (her) around,” Biniak said. “It was violent.”

Paramedics were unable to revive the veteran trainer, who was pronounced dead at the scene at about 2 p.m. Brancheau had wanted to do nothing but work at SeaWorld since visiting at age 9.

This story is incredibly traumatizing.  I am terrified of the ocean and ginormous animals such as whales… now my fear is even worse.  This poor girl… at least she died doing what she loved, but her life ended too soon.  I feel horrible for her family and her fellow co-workers.  I’d definitely get rid of Telly A.S.A.P.

Last night on American Idol were the top 12 guys performances. On a side-note, in the above picture Ryan Seacrest is in a Michael Lynche and Tim Urban sandwich. Ryan is a little dude, but next to Lynche he is pocket sized. Thought it was funny and HAD to put a picture of them!
As far as the performances goes, there were a few that I loved and of course a few that bombed. I didn’t even post a couple because they weren’t memorable enough for me. My two favorite guys as of now are Casey James, who Kara is in love with, and Lee Dewyze.

The Crazies will be out for all of us to see on February 26th, 2010.  When I first saw a preview for this movie I really thought that the title was a joke.  They couldn’t have come up with something better?  Or were they trying to have a terrible title to get attention.

The movie, like ALL other scary movies of our generation is based on a classic by the same name by George Ramero back in 1973.

I like screwed up movies and this one looks good to me, similar to a lot of the others out there, but I will probably see it.  If it doesn’t scare me then it will make me laugh, either way it’s a win win.  Anyway, if the title was on purpose they did a good job, sure got my attention.
