The 15 Weirdest, Wackiest and Most Awesome Shoes Ever Created
It’s a well known stereotype that women love shoes. But it’s a stereotype that, more often than not, is completely true. Shoes make a style. Shoes make an outfit. Shoes make a statement.
Some shoes, though, make more of a statement than others.
These 15 footwear options from around the world (more than a few are products of Japan and it shows) certainly make a statement… one that’s loud and painfully clear. No, really, most of them look extraordinarily painful. But beauty is pain or some cliche like that. Skip the torture of actually wearing these crazy foot contraptions and instead just stare at them in disbelief until your eyes bleed:

Some people informerly refer to their feet as dogs, but this is just too far.

I’m no shoe expert, but I’m pretty sure that heel is misplaced.
Sometimes it’s just too much of a burden to carry your Gameboy.
As if toe socks weren’t enough of an abomination, now we have these.
There are no words for these banana shoes.
This is a perfect example why shoes and steroids don’t mix.
Perhaps these flip flops were designed to mask the smell of feet… with something much, much worse.
The spider-in-the-shoe is the new goldfish-in-the-shoe.
I don’t get it, but if it’s covered in snakeskin I like it.
It’s footwear for the environmentally chic.

They may be hideous, but the five finger shoes are actually great for some types of workouts …. not weight lifting though! I saw one of my CrossFit instructors wearing them while running!
