Celebrity Side Businesses That Actually Make Sense

Celebrities spit out side businesses like they’re PR-manufactured soundbites. Every person who’s every had a role in any film or TV show or commercial likely has a clothing line. Because if you’re pseudo-famous and wear clothes, you must be qualified to dictate fashion.
However, there are a few stars who actually work on projects that perfectly compliment their persona… for better or worse. You have to hand it to them for sticking with what they know and staying true to themselves.
We may not love these ladies, but we do love their consistency:
Kendra Wilkinson

Kendra’s taking her experience at the Playboy Mansion and combining it with a little entrepreneurial spirit. The result? Stripper poles of course. Kendra just announced that she is creating her own line of stripper poles and stripper pole workouts that will rival Carmen Electra’s, or so she claims. Something tells me Kendra knows what she’s talking about here.
Lindsay Lohan

Critics tend to pan Lindsay’s fashion choices, often for her lack of pants. However, she’s spun this negative into a positive and created her own line of leggings 6126. Lindsay’s also known for her excessive sunless tanning, so who better than she to sell a self-tanning product? Sevin Nyne gets you glowing… hopefully without the orangey look Lindsay sometimes rocks.
Raquel Welch

There are probably few celebrities who can pull off a successful line of wigs, but dammit Raquel Welch can because she’s Raquel Welch. Who wouldn’t want to emulate that famous ‘do? Jessica Simpson’s hair extension, take a note.
