How Much Cloth Did That Take: Oscars Red Carpet

precious fat star sidibe on red carpet 2010

Precious star, Gabourey Sidibe, looked ginormous great on the red carpet last night… not.  How much fabric did that take to make her dress?  I don’t even know or care what she had to say on the red carpet with Ryan Seacrest but she did say something that made my friend say something pretty damn funny.  She says, “I’m a normal person..”  No idea what she was referring to but my friend said, “No you’re not, you ate a normal person”.

Then they switch and show Jay Manuel, the guy with the white/gray hair, (why is his hair that color by the way?) from America’s Next Top Model and Giuliana Rancic from Giuliana and Bill. The two of them agree with each other and think she is SO cute.  Really?  How is that possible?  And who the hell designed Sidibe’s dress and how long did that take?

I was shocked to read this, because usually I really enjoy FLBL’s articles. This is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever read. Could you make it any more obvious that you are disgusted by fat people? I’m going to make by own biases obvious to you then: I’m disgusted by you. While Gabourey is an actress talented enough to have garnered a Best Actress nomination for her first film performance ever, you are absolutely nobody. You said you didn’t know or care about what she had to say, and repeated a lovely anecdote from a similarly cunty friend of yours who said that Gabourey “ate a normal person.” And you implied that there is no possible way to make Gabourey look cute. So why does it even matter what she’s wearing, if you just think there’s no redeeming qualities or any way to make her look beautiful? This is lazy, malicious journalism, and I’m horrified that I even have to dignify this trash by calling it journalism.

Penny- I am sorry you feel that way. I was kidding, didn’t mean anything malicious by it, sorry you got so disgusted by it. Was just trying to make someone laugh. Some times people think fat people are funny. Again, I am sorry.

Penny…………….I think you need to take a chill pill. While Precious may be talented and it is great that she was up for an award she is very large and just didn’t look good. That is not an opinion but a fact and sorry to say in this day in age it is all about the thin woman. Don’t say I agree but it is what it is so don’t be too hard on Roxy.

Thanks Michelle- I know you are an avid reader considering the amount of comments you leave. Thank you for that, I appreciate it. Glad you understand where I am coming from on this.

Wow, you’re a fucking asshole. That woman has more talent in her little finger than you have in your entire body. Your article sucks, your personality sucks, and I hope you get skull fucked by an elephant.
